Dogbed
A play furniture hidden in plain sight by a normal use case.
Our dog needed her own sofa, and I wanted it high enough that she could sit and look out of the window. While designing it, I realized that adding some "decorative" holes, it can also be used as play furniture.
As dog furniture, just put the dog bed on top of it (adjust the measurements of the furniture to that), and the dog gets a nice resting place.
As play furniture, it can be used with or without pad (which has a board backing). You can tie someone to it using the holes or the ribs. Only your fantasy sets the limits.
All edges, including the holes, are rounded with a 15 mm radius router bit.
The construction is based on the construction of Gallret, adapted for this use case.
